Passage GAA

Starting in July 2021 we upgraded the main pitch in Passage GAA to a fully drained sand based pitch.

 

Existing pitch levels were not up to standard so the entire pitch surface was stripped and re-graded to fine tolerance.

 

We installed a full primary drainage system with new inspection chambers and outfall and a secondary drainage system comprising sand slits at 1.5 meter c/c.

 

Wexford sand carpet was ameliorated into the soil and the pitch seeded in early September.

 

Handed over after the grow in period in May 2022 the pitch is a credit to the long term ambitions of the club to consistently improve facilities for all its members.
