Working with the project team in College Corinthians we completed a range of facility improvements over the course of 2021 and into 2022.
Central to this was the construction of a 2,400 M2 extension to the existing all weather facility. Existing timber and steel fencing was removed and replaced with 3 meter high sports mesh fencing to all perimeters.
Recesses for goal storage and access gates were installed and we constructed a 97 meter long retaining wall to the upper side of the pitch which functions as an asset to training and also retains the access road and lighting infrastructure.
Below the all weather, we installed a 90 meter long retaining wall in precast block sections with a spectator rail fence which acts as a spectator area for both the all weather and for an elevated view over Pitch 1.
Concrete footpaths were installed to the perimeter of the all weather with access steps and handrails installed where needed.
A new Musco LED Lighting system has been installed to light the all weather which was designed around the existing 110 KVA overhead power lines transversing the site.
Other works included upgrading the existing power supply, building a new electrical room to house all new electrical installations, installing new tar areas to the car park with speed ramps and safety improvements and we also built a new 5,000 M2 grass training pitch to the rear of the site cut into the hillside.
A challenging project which has turned out to be of huge benefit to the club on their first phase of development.
